WallPaper Manager Wallpaper Manager is a simple yet powerful program that allows you add pictures in sets that will be used as desktop wall papers. Wallpapers can be added via the usual file dialog or by using drag n drop. As you add images the program automatically checks to see if there are any duplications. On activation of the built in timer the wallpapers will automatically be changed and rendered as tiled, centered or stretched as per settings that you can adjust. The timer only counts computer on time as to real-time thus displaying each image for the same period. The next desktop image is decided by the order of the images in the display. The display can be sorted by date, name, size or randomly by acceding or descending order. A Wallpaper set can be made default thus opening to that set each time. Wallpapers can be displayed as thumbnails and full screen. ScreenElf This application is a free desktop wallpaper changer/rotator. With it, you can manually change desktop wallpapers, or let the program automatically cycle through all Windows wallpapers, and your own wallpapers which you can place in the Images folder by pressing the 'Add images...' button, and copying bmp, jpg, gif, png or tiff files in it. You can select the option 'Only Elf' which is going to cause the program to cycle only through images you placed in the Images folder. Right-click the ScreenElf system tray icon to access some commands also available on the ScreenElf window. To access the main ScreenElf command window double-click the icon, or right-click it and select 'Options'. On the command window, you can manually change the wallpaper. To set the rotation interval click the up and down buttons on under the 'Rot. interval' caption. The program works on Windows Vista, Windows XP and Windows 7. At the bottom of the command window there is a new feature 'Restore Icons', and it's purpose is to restore icons to their original locations if they get jumbled after changing the screen resolution, or after something else happens that causes this. But, in order to be able to restore them, you have to save the state of the desktop by pressing 'Save Desktop'. Luckily for you, I have automatized this process. The application saves the state of desktop once every hour while the application is running, unless you turn this feature off.
