Hash is a cross-platform application for calculating file hashes written in Borland Delphi 7. It can be useful to check file consistency of copied or downloaded files similarly to the md5sum application. Since it can recurse into subfolders it can also be used to verify the consistency of entire directory trees (e.g. removable media like a CD-ROM, etc...). Due to its object oriented architecture it allows easy integration of hashing algorithms and can be used as a testbed for optimizing and verifying new ones. XdN File Association This is a new tool for Windows Vista from me to try and correct another issue with the OSâ?¦ This one removes (incorrect) file extension associations. Unlike previous versions of Windows..If you accidentally associate the wrong program to a certain file extension under Windows Vista, it does NOT let you remove that association (without opening up the Registry Editor, going to a certain key, deleting it, etc). Vista will let you change the association from one program to something else, but not let you remove a program from the list. For example, lets say you accidentally associate a SYS file with Notepad. Vista wonâ??t let you remove Notepad from the list of programs that opens a SYS file. You can change it to another program, but to what? Why can't you just remove all the associations from SYS? This lets you easily remove the "customized" extensions for the current user. With the customized file extension removed from the current userâ??s registry, the system default action for that extension returns. I have added this to my XdN Tweaker as well, but I will also keep it as a stand-alone. PenyuBuzz Dengue, a disease carries by mosquitoes, is becoming more fatal especially in tropical countries. PenyuBuzz has been developed with the main purpose to become an alternative for dangerous insects repellent. PenyuBuzz is currently purely based on theoretical study with no scientific evidence. Even though it is not 100% effective, gradual and continuous researches will be conducted for improved effectiveness. Researchers are highly welcome to feed us with more info on subject matter for us to develop better solution. PenyuBuzz will generate ultrasonic sound which cannot be heard by normal human which is normally between the range of 16 to 20 KHz, depending on age and other factor. Whilst mosquitoes and other insects have the audible range of ultrasonic sound, PenyuBuzz will generate random ultrasound to get rid of them. To avoid the insects from becoming immune to the buzzing sound, PenyuBuzz has been designed to generate ultrasound at random and different melodies. Is it effective? Some say yes, some say no. Some say non-sense, some say need for more research. But dogs do respond to its whistle. The frequency and phase of each DDS can be independently specified. Each DDS can be put into the power down mode. The DDS chips can be reset. The ADC can be read either on demand, or continuously. The ADC data can be displayed either as volts, or as the hardware data register. An Overlap Test mode that continuously reads the ADC while modifying the LO DDS phase shift. Conversion performance is measured. An Options dialog contains a number of settings for customizing gnat. Starting with version 1.03, gnat supports the LTC2440 ADC chip, the fast detector. This includes support for multiple conversion rates and data averaging. The earlier version of gnat, 1.02, will not function correctly with the 2440 ADC. If you have a 2440, you must upgrade to version 1.03. Version 1.03 also supports the expanded N2PK signal mapping plan, and the OZ multiple speed 2410 ADC (although not yet tested). Tag:
